Metavasi Group — a contractor's front door, built to be handed over
Metavasi Group is a registered building contractor in Mount Lawley: small-to-medium residential development and new homes for private clients. They needed what most established builders need — a credible place for referrals to land, carrying photographic proof of the work.
The site is hand-written HTML on hosting the client owns. Eight photographic projects, sourced from 127 MB of masters, reach a visitor as a 762 KB first load — and the site keeps working with JavaScript switched off. Its signature transition is a louvre wipe taken from the client's own logo motif, because a flourish is only worth shipping if it couldn't belong to anyone else.
The quieter half of the engagement is the part the ownership page describes. The domain's DNS used to live in an account belonging to the original developer — the exact dependency that strands businesses years later. It now sits in an account registered to Metavasi's own role address, with mail records intact and verified after cutover. Email never dropped, and nothing about the site would need rescuing if Leapfrog disappeared.
